What Our Customers are Saying
We had a serious issue with raccoons in the attic, and Gary handled it flawlessly from start to finish. He quickly identified the problem and used a humane and effective trapping method to remove the raccoons. What really impressed me was that he didn’t just do a quick fix—he returned after a week to make sure there were no more animals left, which gave us real peace of mind.
Gary went above and beyond with the prevention work. He installed durable wire mesh over every roof and plumbing vent to ensure nothing could get back in.In addition to the high-quality work, his pricing was very reasonable, especially considering the level of service and attention to detail provided.Professional, thorough, and detail-oriented—Gary truly exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend his services to anyone dealing with wildlife issues in their home.

Called Gary and he was able to come almost immediately. He did a great job and went above and beyond. Explained everything in detail and was very thorough. He took his time to find and patch up/cover up any possible entry points where rodents could enter, inside and outside. He even had a drone to check the roof. This is my third exterminator and I will not be looking elsewhere! Extremely fair pricing and did a way better job than my last experiences. Highly recommend.

I have an ongoing raccoon problem in my backyard. Gary from Guard More Pest Control Inc exceeded my expectations! He was professional, helpful and friendly. He removed the raccoon feces off of my deck and cleaned up the area (this is an after photo of the cleanup, where the wood used to be a black colour). He sprayed animal repellent and bug spray at the front of my house and in my backyard. He also put a mesh cover to prevent the raccoons from returning (see attached picture). Gary went above and beyond with the services and his prices are reasonable. I'm very happy that Gary reached out to me, and I would definitely recommend him to family and friends!

Strongly recommend! Gary helped us with our small bed bug infestation for a very reasonable price. He's a hard worker with a customer-centric approach. The preparation guides were a bit off in several places, but Gary clarified and answered my questions very promptly and in detail. Both treatment sessions went extremely smooth.

Complete Pest Control Services
for Brampton Homes and Businesses
Every treatment is species-specific. We identify the pest, locate the colony or entry point, and apply the right combination of Pesticides Regulatory Directorate (old name was Pest Management Regulatory Agency) registered and approved product. We do not use a generic spray-and-pray approach because that will never remove the pests.
German and Oriental cockroaches spread through shared plumbing and electrical chases in condos, restaurants, and apartments. We use gel baits, non-repellent residual treatments, and insect growth regulators with monitoring follow-up.
COCKROACH CONTROL
Yellow jacket and bald-faced hornet nests peak July through September in Brampton's suburban neighbourhoods, often established under deck boards, in wall voids, or in overhanging soffits. We treat nests directly at dusk when foragers are inside, using residual dustable insecticides that prevent re-establishment. Emergency same-day service available.
WASP CONTROL
Brampton is Canada's #23 rattiest city. We locate all entry points, install tamper-resistant bait stations, seal gaps with heavy-gauge steel, and return to confirm elimination. Active construction zones are displacing established rat colonies into nearby homes right now.
RODENT CONTROL
RACCOON REMOVAL
Grey squirrels have two litter seasons in Brampton: March to April and July to August. They chew through roof vents, soffits, and fascia to access warm attic spaces. We install one-way exclusion doors, confirm all animals have exited, and seal every secondary access point with galvanized steel. Lifetime guarantee on all coverings installed.

The Guard More Process
- Inspect & Identify: We identify the exact species before we do anything else because different pests require different treatments. Pharaoh ants, carpenter ants, rats, and raccoons all require completely different protocols. Wrong identification means wasted treatment and a recurring problem. We inspect entry points, nest sites, conducive conditions (moisture, food, access), and map the full extent of the infestation.
- Targeted Treatment: We apply the appropriate combination of Health Canada-registered and approved products (insecticides, rodenticides, bait stations, traps, exclusions) based on the species and infestation severity. Some examples are slow-acting non-repellent baits for ants and cockroaches (so the active ingredient reaches the queen via trophallaxis), tamper-resistant rodent stations with sealed entry points, exclusion hardware for wildlife, and residual perimeter treatments where warranted. Never a one-size-fits-all spray.
- Seal & Exclude: For rodents and wildlife, treatment without exclusion is temporary. We seal entry points with commercial-grade materials — 16-gauge galvanized steel mesh, heavy-gauge flashing, and expansion-resistant sealants — after confirming the structure is clear. All exclusion coverings on wildlife work come with a lifetime warranty. For insects, we advise on structural and environmental factors that will need remediation to prevent re-infestation.
- Follow-Up & Guarantee: We provide a 30 to 60 days for most insect treatments because the multi-month life cycles of ants, cockroaches, and bed bugs mean a single visit is rarely sufficient based on infestation level. Bed bugs always require 2 visits to break the reproduction cycle and known as 'super bugs' due to ability to grow resistance to chemicals over time. Our work is backed by a written re-treatment guarantee. If the pest returns within the guarantee period, we return at no charge.
Brampton Pest Trends You Need to Know
Rats & Mice Across Brampton: Brampton has appeared on Canada's Rattiest Cities list every year for at least the past several years, ranking as high as 23rd nationally in 2025. The Region of Peel took the issue seriously enough to run a Residential Rat Control Subsidy from 2021 through February 2024, reimbursing homeowners for exterior rat-control costs because construction displacement was pushing rats into Brampton, Mississauga, and Caledon homes. A 2025 peer-reviewed study in Science Advances found Toronto-region rat populations among the fastest-growing of 16 global cities studied, a trend that extends across the GTA.

Field Mice in Springdale, Mount Pleasant & Castlemore: Brampton's newest subdivisions - Springdale, Mount Pleasant, Mayfield West, and Castlemore/Bram East — were built directly on former farmland. Field mice and voles displaced by that construction don't disappear; they move into the new homes built on their former habitat, surging indoors every fall as crops are harvested and temperatures drop. New homeowners are frequently surprised to find mice in their basement within the first year of moving in because it is a structural gap issue specific to farmland-edge construction, not a cleanliness problem.

Wildlife Near Heart Lake & the Credit River: Heart Lake Conservation Area, the Etobicoke Creek watershed, the Credit River corridor, Professor's Lake, and Claireville Conservation Area give Brampton an extensive wildlife population. Raccoons are an urban wildlife problem in Brampton. They target attics, chimneys, and soffits in Heart Lake, Credit Valley, and Castlemore. The City even runs a public Coyote Sighting Map for ravine-adjacent neighbourhoods.

Commercial Rodent & Cockroach Pressure on Steeles & Airport Rd: Transportation and warehousing accounts for over 15% of Brampton's entire workforce. This is more than manufacturing or retail because Brampton has a large concentration of warehouse, logistics, and cold-storage facilities along Steeles Avenue, Airport Road, and Torbram Road near Pearson Airport creates persistent commercial rodent and cockroach pressure that needs scheduled service, not reactive calls. Bramalea City Centre and the downtown commercial core add pest pressure from restaurants and retail stores on top of the industrial corridor.
